Frequently asked questions

How long have you been photographing weddings?

2022 will mark my 10th year taking photos of people on one of their happiest days! Let's hope for 80 more.

What do I need to book you?

To secure a date, I require a 20% non-refundable deposit. There is also a contract to go along with your specific wedding package. Payments are made through PayPal, Venmo, Cash or Check.

What is the photo booth like?

My photo booth is totally automated, meaning there is no one there to babysit you while you make a fool of yourself, or friends! It does not print, but instead all photos are uploaded to a specific site for you to share / download with your guest. Props included. You provide the people.

How long before I get my photos?

2 weeks is the average turn around time for wedding photos. I have never gone over 30 days, but according to my wedding contract, 60 days is the max.

Is there a second photographer?

I shoot most of my weddings alone. Photo, video, and photo booth... No Problem. I have been doing it long enough to comfortably say I can capture all of the most important moments as a one man show. If you would like another photographer there, it can be arranged.

Do you travel?

Sure do! If outside of Chautauqua County, there is a .50/mile fee. If outside of the state or country, sometimes there isn't a fee ;)

How do I get my photos?

All photos are digitally delivered through a private site for you and whoever you decide to share your photos with. You can download them and order your own prints, or there is an option to order straight from the site. Flash drives are also available for an additional $15.

Do I need "Raw Photos"?

No, not really. I take on average 3000 photos per wedding. Those are then culled down to the best of the best which get edited, enhanced, and delivered. If you want the raw photos, you will get your beautifully edited photos along with all of the rest of the un-edited photos. Some people want them just to see all of the photos, others want them for editing purposes. Either way, I see them as unfinished work, but you can purchase them if you are so inclined.

What is the deal with the highlight video?

Along with top-notch photos, I have the ability to take high quality videos at the same time and deliver a highlight film. This will contain a bunch of special moments throughout the day, cinematically edited together for you to enjoy your day in a way that photos do not convey. These videos range from 4-8 minutes but have the possibility of being longer if you want the entire ceremony and speeches covered as well.
